Our Mission

Our mission  is to provide a space for all to celebrate the Glories of God and to participate in service to the Lord through Bhakti yoga. We hope for this space to cultivate spiritual, mental, physical and emotional healing through many means, as well as growth and connection within our community.

Under the guidance of Pujyapad Premananda Prabhuji, Pujyapad Bhaktabandhav Rasikananda Maharaja (of Serve Love Ashram in Ellenville, NY) was instructed to spark inspiration of newer aspiring devotees by encouraging them convert their homes into centers to serve the Lord and provide outreach to the surrounding communities. In late March of 2024, the home of an aspiring servant in Little Egg Harbor, NJ was one of the first to become a Serve Love Bhakti center (Nama-hatta).

Our Story

Sri Sri Sonar Gauranga

Our Beloved Thakurji, Sri Sri Sonar Gauranga was installed in the beginning of 2024 by Pujyapad Bhaktabandhav Rasikananda Maharaja and has been served here at our Bhakti house with many daily offerings. The name Sonar Gauranga refers to the Golden Divine Couple, Radha-Krishna together as one. By serving and caring for Thakurji in such an intimate way, we create deep and personal connections to God, similar to the way a mother cares for and loves her child.

The foundation of our knowledge comes from the lineage of our Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya Sampradaya. Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is the founder of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) and authorized over 70 volumes on the Krishna tradition, which have been translated into 76 languages. He came to America to educate the Western world about the Pastimes of Sri Radha-Krishna and the traditions of Gaudiya-Vaishnavism. Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Goswami (Srila Bhaktabandhav Gurudeva) is our topmost spiritual teacher. "Whether he was in India or abroad, his preaching always bore the distinctive characteristic of clarifying the specific purposes of Sriman Mahaprabhu’s advent, in strict adherence with the desire of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada and in perfect congruence with the conceptions of Srila Rupa Gosvami. Thus, in upholding the glorious tenets of the sampradaya, he performed the function of a true acarya" (Pure Bhakti). Many great teachers and leaders have come from Srila Bhaktabandhav Gurudeva, including Pujyapada Pemananda Prabhuji who epitomizes selfless service in many ways, including his orchestration of the distribution of Prasadam (blessed food) to thousands in of people everyday. Prabhuji resides in Vrindavan, India, yet continues to fuel the vision of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu through his followers in the West. Pujyapada Bhaktabandhav Rasikananda Maharaja serves under the guidance of Prabhuji by traveling across America preaching the Holy Names. Under Prabhuji and his wishes did this Nama-hatta (Bhakti house) come to be. Our rich lineage of mentors who spread Mahaprabhu's legacy inspire us to practice Bhakti yoga to the fullest and spread the Holy Names in any ways we can.
